Chapter Eleven

Dash

It was different, coming to Chained to have dinner. I’d always thought of it as my little place, and it still was or could be. But tonight, when we couldn’t think of anywhere to go, he suggested here because their parent-and-me appetizer platter sounded delicious.

“It’s an off day for the club,” I said when we pulled up. “At least I thought it was.”

Or off for me anyway. I was a weekend kind of guy. Monday night was not the weekend by any stretch of the imagination. Except the parking lot was far from empty.

“I did, too. But the parking lot tends to shout otherwise.”

We walked into the lobby and up to the front desk. “You know the drill,” Ms. Lily said. “I didn’t have you signed up for the competition today.”

“Competition?” That would explain the cars.

“Yeah, for the pups.”

“We just came to eat dinner.” I leaned into Daddy. “Is that allowed?”

She told us it was perfectly fine and offered us a changing room. We didn’t need one. Not tonight. Other nights I’d absolutely love to try one, but, when you weren’t changing, there wasn’t a point, unless banging in the sex club where no one could see or know was on your list of things to do.

We declined and walked inside, hand in hand.

“I like seeing all the pups,” Daddy admitted. “The different collars, mitts, and hoods are fascinating.”

There were quite a few pups, all with masters. But if this was all about the obstacle course, they would probably be in the pet-play section. That was, unless they loved the idea of freezing their pups to death. We were told the agility contests were open to anyone. I wasn’t sure that interested me. Not because I didn’t love pups. I very much did love them and thought of them as sort of similar to me. Sure, I liked to be little, and they liked to be playful. But when you boiled it down, they were both caregiver kinks. Agility races, though, even in their original form with actual dogs—that sounded boring as fuck.

We found a spot to sit fairly easily.

We ordered as soon as our server arrived and then sat back and watched the pups. We picked seating that was more a couch than a dining chair. One of the many things I loved about this place was all the options available to us.

“I know we aren’t playing tonight, but is it okay if I sit on your lap?”

He pulled me right up, answering that with zero question. The only reason we weren’t playing was because we both had work in the morning. When we’d decided on that, it had sounded like the best choice. Now that I was here, curling up on Daddy’s lap, I wasn’t so sure.

“I like seeing the puppies, Daddy.” I nibbled on his jawline. “They are really cute.” Or, in some cases, hot as heck. It really depended on the pup. They were like littles in that way. Yes, they gave control to their
